AV Integration

AV, home cinema and multi-room audio, integrated with the home.

Fortue designs and integrates audio-visual systems for Dubai villas and residences: media rooms, multi-room audio and TV distribution, controlled from the same keypads and app as the lighting, curtains and AC.

Integration first

Entertainment that works with the rest of the house.

AV is often installed as a separate package with its own remotes and apps. The result is a cinema that needs three remotes, and audio that cannot be part of a Welcome or Night scene.

Fortue plans AV as part of the integrated system. A Movie scene can dim the lights, close the curtains and switch on the projector or TV; a Welcome scene can start music in the living areas. Equipment is selected per project for the room, the budget and how the family actually uses it.

What we deliver

Media rooms & cinemas

Screen, projector or TV, surround sound and seating positions planned with the interior designer.

Multi-room audio

In-ceiling or architectural speakers by zone, with streaming sources the family already uses.

TV distribution

TV and source distribution across living areas, bedrooms and the majlis.

Outdoor audio

Weather-rated speakers for gardens, terraces and pool areas.

Planning guide

What to plan for AV in a villa.

Decide rooms and zones early

Agree which rooms need a screen, which need audio, and where a dedicated media room makes sense. Speaker and screen positions affect ceiling layouts and joinery, so they should be fixed with the interior designer.

Plan cabling and the equipment location

Speaker cable, HDMI or HDBaseT runs and network points need to be installed before ceilings close. A central rack with ventilation keeps equipment out of sight and serviceable.

Treat the media room as a room, not a TV wall

Screen size, seating distance, acoustic treatment and lighting control decide how a cinema feels. These are design decisions, not just product choices.

Integrate control

Link AV to lighting and curtains so scenes do the work, and make sure the network can carry streaming reliably.

Control & infrastructure

One interface, not a drawer of remotes.

AV depends on cabling, ventilation and the network as much as on the equipment, so these are designed together.

  • Movie, Music and Night scenes with lighting and curtains
  • Keypad, app and voice control
  • Structured cabling for screens, speakers and sources
  • Equipment racks with ventilation and power protection
  • Network design for streaming
  • Programming and calibration on site

Questions

AV integration in Dubai: questions

Can my home cinema be controlled with the rest of the home automation?

Yes. In an integrated system, one Movie scene can dim lights, close curtains and switch on the screen and sound system.

Can multi-room audio be added to an existing villa?

Often yes. Where new speaker cabling is difficult, wireless streaming speakers or partial rewiring may be options. A survey confirms what is practical.

Do you only work with certain AV brands?

No. Equipment is selected per project. Fortue is an independent integrator, not an authorised dealer for any AV brand.

Should AV be planned with the interior designer?

Yes. Screen, speaker and equipment positions affect ceilings, joinery and lighting, so early coordination avoids compromises later.
